I will also try to find some time to put together a introduction for our upcoming superhero-webseries. The support has been fantastic so far with 18 pre-orders of the signed, numbered, limited awesome special edition DVD sold to people everywhere from Sweden to USA to Germany to Suomi.
As I have been stating, this is only the beginning. I wanted to start sharing early to truly share the WHOLE journey.

My next step is to create a introduction video explaining the whole thing in a much nicer and quicker way then having everybody reading through that long text (kuddos to all of you who did). I know I would much rather watch a 60 second video. And it turns out, a video is also much easier to share. Nice huh?

There also seems to be a demand for allowing payment for the DVD:s via Pay Pal. I'll set this up asap.

UPDATE:
You can now also pre-order the DVD via Pay Pal by clicking on this button (it's the same deal as you find on the IndieGoGo page - but you simply use Pay Pal to pay for it).

Thank you all for taking part in this journey.
It really means A LOT.

Have a good one!

Down below is a whole lot more info and in the near future I'll be rolling out even more, including a Frequently Asked Questions. This is only the beginning...

BACKGROUND

Hello, my name is André Hedetoft and I'm a 26 years old movie director.

I was born 7 weeks early in an elevator and had to spend a lot of time in hospitals where I found my salvation in the geek culture.

A while ago I combined my love for the geek culture with my lifelong dream to make movies that I myself would like to see and made a promise:

"When I have 1000 fans I will tattoo in Geek Movie Director on myself and make a superhero-series that is going to spread all over the world, for free, on the Internet."

With that said and done, we created a short teaser to generate interest in the project...

I got my 1000 fans.
I got my tattoo.
Now, 2010, it's finally time for our superhero-webseries "Extraordinaries!" to come alive.

"EXTRAORDINARIES!"

"Extraordinaries!" is the story about a young orphan girl who shaken by the brutal event that put her little brother in coma records a message onto You Tube. An appeal, to regular people, just like you and me, to not passively stand by when injustices ravage but instead do something extraordinary....just as she intends to.

This first season will consist of 5 episodes, 4 minutes each, that will be released, for free, all over the world, on the Internet.

This is a mega low budget project. But low budget doesn't mean low quality. On the contrary low budget means that we are a team of insanely passionate geeks, putting in time and equipment to be able to bring the untouched story and vision we have imagined into life. Creating a grand production on the cheap. And trust me, we wouldn't even bother if we didn't intend to bring you one awesome adventure.

WHAT CAN YOU DO?

If you like the project... here are 3 things you can do to help "Extraordinaries!".

1. Follow along right here on my blog, or twitter, or facebook group where I'll be sharing the whole adventure with you.

2. Tell your friends about this page. Put it on your facebook, twitter, blog or wherever seem fit.

3. Pre-order (only 12$ a piece including shipment) 1 of 1000 signed, numbered, extremely limited awesome DVD versions packed with loads of extras, behind the scenes, exclusive stuff and get your name in said DVD credits under "Extraordinary People". Get yours by heading to indiegogo.com/extraordinaries and click "fund this project" in the top right corner to pay safely with your credit card.

When the DVDs gone, they're gone. No reprints. Left in your hands you will have one of the only 1000 copies in existence and will have given support to one amazing project. And believe me, this is only the beginning...

Welcome to one wild adventure!

</rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://www.andrehedetoft.com/geekporn/2010/2/15/soon.html"><rss:title>Soon</rss:title><rss:link>http://www.andrehedetoft.com/geekporn/2010/2/15/soon.html</rss:link>

<dc:subject></dc:subject>

So back in business today.
